A QR Code badge gives everyone on site a clear identity at a glance: visitors, suppliers, external contractors, temporary staff or event attendees. Use the Badge type field to tell categories apart instantly, while the four-digit sequential code — printed as text and mirrored in the QR — makes checks at the entrance effortless. Codes from 0000 to 9999, padded with leading zeros, stay aligned and legible on screen and on paper, and scan from any smartphone.
Print on die-cut A4 sheets or adhesive labels
The PDF is calibrated to the millimetre. Start from the 85 × 55 mm preset (10 badges per sheet, SIGEL DP930 type) or the 105 × 57 mm preset for full-width adhesive labels; the advanced settings let you match margins, gaps and sizes to any sheet. Choose landscape or portrait and always print at 100%, with “fit to page” off, so the badges line up with the die-cuts.
From a printed badge to digital entry management
QR badges make guests recognisable while they are on site. As the process grows, IRIGuest turns the whole welcome into a digital flow on iPad and Android tablets: signed check-in, GDPR consent, a notification to the host and an entry history you can always review. FAQs about company QR Code badges
Does the QR code hold personal data?
No. It only holds the badge code, for example 0001, 2048 or a custom code such as A001 or WH-01.
Can I use my own codes instead of sequential numbers?
Yes. Under “Badge codes” choose “Enter codes manually” and type up to 24 codes (letters, numbers, hyphen and underscore, max 12 characters). Each code is printed as text and mirrored exactly in the QR code.
Can I print the badges on a plain A4 sheet?
Yes. Print on die-cut A4 sheets or adhesive labels that match the available formats, or on plain paper first to check the alignment before the final run.
How should I set up printing?
Print at 100% and turn off options such as “fit to page” or “shrink to fit”.
Can I use the badges for visitors, suppliers or contractors?
Yes. Use the “Badge type” field to set Visitor, Supplier, Contractor, Event or any custom label.
Want to manage entries too?
